LTF Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and experienced Behaviour Mentor to join our partner primary school in the Kings Norton area, specifically supporting Key Stage 2 pupils. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about encouraging positive behaviour in children with SEN. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping students who need extra support to thrive academically and socially. This long-term role comes with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right person.

The Role:

Provide 1:1 support to a Key Stage 2 student exhibiting challenging behaviour, enforcing clear and consistent boundaries.
Help maintain a nurturing and positive learning environment.
Work closely with teaching staff to develop and implement strategies aimed at improving behavioural outcomes.
Encourage active engagement and participation in classroom activities.
Offer targeted interventions to support students' learning, wellbeing, and personal development.What we are looking for:

A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or degree.
Experience working in a primary school, ideally within Key Stage 2.
Qualifications such as TeamTeach or training in Positive Behaviour Management are highly desirable.
Proven experience managing challenging behaviours and a strong understanding of behaviour management techniques.
Experience working with Special Educational Needs (SEN) students.
A passion for helping children overcome challenges and reach their full potential.The School:
