Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a small, dedicated finance team, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
• Oversee the monthly management accounts process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Manage the month-end timetable, delivering comprehensive reconciliations and insightful financial reporting.
• Lead the year-end process, ensuring the preparation of financial statements and overseeing audit support.
• Drive the annual budget process, developing detailed budgets and forecasts to guide the business forward.
• Proactively manage cash flow and working capital, ensuring financial stability.
• Implement and maintain effective internal financial controls to protect the business and improve efficiency.
• Spearhead process improvement initiatives within the finance function to streamline operations.
• Guide and support the transactional finance team, helping them develop their skills and career.
• Provide meaningful financial analysis and insights to drive strategic decision-making and business growth.

Candidate Profile:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to manipulate and analyse large sets of data.
• Experience in managing and developing a small team.
• Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence key stakeholders.
• A proven track record in commercial analysis, driving strategy improvements, and enhancing business performance.
