We are seeking an Assistant Tax Manager to join the tax department of a small, growing financial services business in East Cambridge. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing personal / private client tax compliance and advisory services to a diverse client base.

Manage and deliver tax services to a private client portfolio
Assist in the development of innovative tax planning strategies
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and laws
Mentor junior staff members and assist in their development
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in tax law and regulations
Establish and maintain strong client relationships
Assist in business development initiativesProfile

A successful Assistant Tax Manager should have:

A degree in Accounting, Finance, and/or a professional tax or accounting qualification
Proven experience in a tax role within a professional services environment
Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations
Excellent communication and client service skills
