ole Overview:A local authority is seeking two experienced Senior Highway Engineers to join their Major Transport Infrastructure Delivery Team. This pivotal role involves developing and delivering key transport infrastructure projects across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and delivery of highway schemes and associated engineering activities.
• Identify challenges in transport infrastructure and design effective solutions.
• Prepare project documentation, including drawings, schedules, cost estimates, and contract documents.
• Collaborate across disciplines to ensure timely delivery of projects, adhering to quality and safety standards.
• Mentor and oversee junior staff, providing professional technical design input.

Requirements:

• Degree or equivalent in Engineering, with substantial vocational experience.
• Significant experience in engineering design and management, particularly in traffic/local road problems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other industry-standard design tools.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure while managing complex workloads.
