SIG Plc. is a leading supplier of specialist building materials to trade customers across Europe as a specialist distributor of insulation and interiors products and merchant of roofing and exterior products.  

We are currently looking to recruit a HGV Class 2 Driver who will be at the heartbeat of our operations and act as a custodian of our great customer service. Operating from our site in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. Day shift hours, working Monday to Friday with very occasion weekend work if required by workload.

What does the role involve?As HGV Driver, you will be working in a safety critical role and be responsible for delivering to a schedule and working to timescales operating inside the M25 and Central London areas. You will be required to maintain good care of your vehicle, ensure all loads are secured, perform daily safety checks, and keep transport documents and paperwork updated.

The successful candidate will require:
•    Valid Class 2 licence
•    Hiab Certification would be advantageous but not essential as training can be given if required.
•    Valid and up to date CPC Card and Digi Tachograph card 
•    Experience in multi-drop driving for a delivery or distribution company 
•    Experience in driving inside the M25 and Central London areas
•    A friendly, professional manner and dedicated to great customer service
