We are on the lookout for a Senior Residential Support Worker in the Wombourne area for a well established "Outstanding" EBD Home that is expanding. The home it's self is spacious with modern facilities, private staff bedrooms and led by an on-site Clinical Psychologist. The homes most recent addition is their very own puppy who is training to be a therapy dog and has now become a permanent resident of the home bringing great joy to the team and young people.

This Therapeutic home believes the most helpful thing you can do in an EBD home is to build a community around the young people. With this ethos in mind, the home has regular full household meals, national trust walks and trips to bring a sense of community and family to the home.

* Hourly rate of £12.40 - £15.75ph dependent on experience and qualification level.

Responsibilities of a Residential Childcare Senior Support Worker:

* Organising and accompanying the young people on social activities and appointments

* Building relationships with young people

* Recording the young person's activity & reporting key aspects of their care

* Promoting the young person's independence and developing their life skills

* Shift Leading for a Team of up to 4 - delegating daily tasks, ensuring policies and procedures are promoted and adhered to, encouraging active working in the home.

* Developing skills to begin progression track for future promotion opportunities.

⭐As a Residential Childcare Senior Support Worker you must have:⭐

* A minimum of 2 years' experience within a Residential setting

* The Level 3 in Residential Childcare / Children and Young People

* A Driving Licence and access to a vehicle.

* A passion for creating positive memories and experiences for children ensuring that they feel cared for, safe and secure
