You'll be instrumental in ensuring that each child reaches their full potential by providing one-to-one and group support, implementing tailored interventions, and assisting in behaviour management strategies. Your role will focus on building positive relationships with the children, helping them develop social skills, emotional resilience, and confidence in their learning.

Application Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children with SEMH needs is essential.

• Knowledge of behaviour management strategies and social-emotional interventions.

• A patient, compassionate, and flexible approach to working with children with additional needs.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills to work collaboratively with teachers, SENCO, and parents.

• A genuine passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning and succeed in school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support to students with SEMH needs in both one-on-one and small group settings.

• Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons that cater to the diverse needs of pupils.

• Work closely with the SENCO and other professionals to implement personalised learning and behaviour plans.

• Support the social and emotional development of students, encouraging positive behaviour and attitudes to learning.

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support for each child.

Perks and Benefits:

Enjoy ongoing professional development and training opportunities to support your growth in SEN education, while working in a welcoming, inclusive school community that values staff wellbeing and collaboration. Be part of an exciting, enriched curriculum filled with workshops, creative learning days, and school trips.
