Proactive Personnel Ltd are currently recruiting for experienced Mechanical Fitters for our client based in the Telford area.

You will be working as part of a team with a common goal to build mechanical systems from engineering drawings using various manufacturing processes.

As part of this role, you will be responsible for

* Assembly of mechanical products and systems

* Reading and working from engineering drawings

* working to a high quality level and complete various Quality inspections throughout the process.

To be considered for this role, you must:

* Have hands on experience of mechanical equipment

* The ability to read and understand engineering drawings

* Complete mechanical visual inspections

* Be comfortable using various hand and power tools daily

* Have sound processes of various mechanical processes.

You must have your own basic tool set (spanners, socket set etc) and this will be supplemented by a tooling allowance scheme. You will be self-motivated, willing to accept responsibility and work progressively to achieve team goals.

37.5 hour working week, £26,000 - £29,000.

In order to achieve the higher salary bracket, you must be able to demonstrate similar experience in a manufacturing environment.
