Commercial Finance Analyst London, UK £45,000 - £50,000pa* (depending on experience) Permanent, Full time and Hybrid working

Our client is a leading provider of high-quality specialist support services for adults with complex learning disabilities and needs. They are looking for a commercial finance analyst to join their team based in London.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the growth of the business alongside the Commercial Finance Manager through all areas of commercial finance involvement.
  • Work closely with the CFO, Commercial Finance Manager, and the Commercial and Operations teams to optimize fee pricing and funding negotiations for: Existing people we support, new admissions, Annual fee uplift negotiations
  • Business development opportunities including new homes
  • Maintain and support with the business's long term forecasting model
  • Develop and deliver accurate and timely reporting and analysis
  • Presentation and analysis of monthly and annual performance
  • Weekly progress reports on key areas of business focus
  • Work with the Head of Estates and Chief Operating Officer to forecast and track capex spend
  • Take a leading role in the Business's organic growth strategy, working closing with the Commercial and Property teams
  • Process and systems improvement across the finance team and wider business. This may include using excel and other systems

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills
  • High energy, high integrity, hands on where required and can-do mind-set.
  • Capable of identifying problems with passion and ability to resolve.
  • Advanced Excel skills including financial modelling.
  • Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships and communicate effectively with business customers, the Heads of Departments, and other teams.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and meet strict deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • (Preferable) Experience in Power BI or similar desired but not essential
  • (Preferable) Finance qualification (with a recognized accounting body) or QBE
