Description

  • Assisting the Senior Quantity Surveyor with construction project management.
  • Undertaking cost analysis and cost control for ongoing projects.
  • Preparing and analysing project tenders.
  • Providing advice on contractual claims and disputes.
  • Ensuring that work complies with quality management, legal and safety requirements.
  • Performing risk and value management to support procurement strategy.
  • Providing support for project accounts and financial reports.
  • Assisting with the procurement of construction materials and equipment.

Profile

A successful Assistant Quantity Surveyor should have:

  • Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Strong numerical and budgeting skills.
  • Excellent understanding of construction processes and materials.
  • Good knowledge of construction contracts and legal frameworks.
  • Experience in assisting with the management of construction projects.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant computer software.
