Materials Controller required in Ipswich for an Immediate start!

Hours of work are 06:30-15:00, Monday-Friday, with overtime regularly available.

We are looking for an experienced stores person who has a previous background in inventory management. This would require strong admin & computer skills as you will be responsible for ensuring all stock is continually updated on the system.

You will also be required to maintain the online logging of production cards which details parts & materials used on each job.

Materials Controller duties include:-

Maintain the stores within production in a professional manner ensuring the computer records are accurately maintained in accordance with the company procedures.
Daily booking in and out of components, kits & finished products to achieve on time delivery of customer's orders
Regularly reconcile physical stock to computerised records
Book in goods received
Pack & dispatch completed orders
Be responsible for own health and safety and personal development, keeping up to date with relevant issues in relation to job role and to demonstrate good housekeeping of the warehouse

Previous warehouse experience is essential, but some training will be provided. You must be computer literate & ideally familiar with stock control (SAP) systems.

This role starts as an on-going contract with the potential to go permanent following a successful trial period.
