Our client in Birkenhead is seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join their team in the new year and contribute to several exciting new projects.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

* Conducting both planned and reactive maintenance.

* Working on large, heavy industrial machinery in a dynamic environment.

Key Requirements

* Time-served Mechanical / Maintenance Fitter (or equivalent experience).

* Proven expertise in maintaining heavy industrial equipment.

Working Hours

* Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

* Friday: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM

* Overtime Rates: Time and a half during the week, double pay on Sundays.

* Holiday Entitlement: 25 days plus 8 bank holidays (accrued hourly).

Important Information

This position falls within IR35, so only PAYE payment is available.
