The Position - 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant

Qualiteach have a new opportunity that is available for after the Easter half term break. The school are looking to prepare for this role before the half term to ensure that they have the right Teaching Assistant for this position. The position is available until the end of the school year and may be extended. For this role, the Teaching Assistant must have a background of working in the Education industry. The Teaching Assistant must be experienced at working with pupils in KS1 and it is important that you have worked with non-verbal. The pupil is used to using picture cards and for communication and needs to be always supported. The ideal Teaching Assistant will have a good understanding with sign language and Makaton.
