About the role of Quantity Surveyor:

As Quantity Surveyor, you will be a number 2 on a £25m shell and core office in Victoria. This is a 2-stage tender, heavy cut and carve project where you will be reporting into the Project Quantity Surveyor. You will be working for a successful Tier 1 Main Contractor who have a turnover of over £1bn and constantly have interesting projects due to them winning the majority of projects in London. They have been dominating the London construction market over the past 20 years working in a variety of sectors and have a proven track record of progressing staff through the ranks.

Key Responsibilities of Quantity Surveyor:

Monitoring actual expenses against budget plans while reporting significant price fluctuations and preparing monthly cash flow forecasts
Liaising with customers and third parties on all commercial matters
Negotiating contracts and writing reports detailing costs resulting in your ability to give advice to the teamKey Requirements of Quantity Surveyor:

Experience on 2-stage tender projects
Cut and carve experience
