Hyde is looking to recruit a Fencer Groundworker.

As a Fencer Groundworker at Hyde, you will be working within our customer homes and communal areas to provide essential maintenance and repair services, ensuring properties meet our safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair, and maintain various types of fencing, including timber, metal, and concrete.
  • Carry out groundwork tasks such as post-setting, paving, drainage repairs, and concreting.
  • Respond to maintenance requests, assessing and addressing fencing and groundwork issues efficiently.
  • Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and Hyde’s quality standards.
  • Communicate with customers on-site, providing updates and addressing any concerns.
  • Work collaboratively with other trades and supervisors to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Experience in fencing and groundwork, particularly in property maintenance or repairs.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills for customer interaction.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A valid CSCS card.
