Wild Recruitment are working with a well known and highly reputable business in Portsmouth in their search for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer.

You will be working in a fast paced and multi disciplined office. You will have a focus on new products and overseeing the projects from start through to completion

You will be working in a large team of engineers so a strong team player is a must!

Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:

Ensure all projects are running smoothly and on time
Implement design modifications on various products
Concept design through to production release
Oversee other engineers and their work
Work closely with and support the manager
Work on a wide range of products with quick turnaroundsIdeally you will:

Have strong design experience ideally within the marine sector
Senior level management experience
Experience with Creo is preferred
Be able to create 3D CAD drawings to a high standard
Have experience working on Injection Mouldings, Castings, Fabrication and Sheet Metal
