Role Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Technical Product Manager with a strong background in financial systems, payments, and blockchain technologies. This role requires a deep understanding of compliance, technical product development, and customer needs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining, building, and managing a system of interrelated products, assisting teams through the full product lifecycle, and ensuring alignment with Paytec's strategic goals.
This role will involve feature definition and prioritization, resource scoping, and commitment management across multiple systems and products. As a customer-facing position, it requires strong relationship-building skills to work closely with stakeholders, including compliance teams, technology partners, and financial institutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Voice of the Customer and Business: Act as the advocate for customer and business needs across multiple product lines from initial concept to launch and ongoing ownership.
- Product Roadmap Management: Execute the product vision and roadmap of the relevant systems and product builds to ensure end-to-end delivery and ensure there is alignment between the engineering teams and business.
- Feature Definition & Prioritization: Drive product development efforts, including research, requirements definition, business and technical specifications, and launch planning.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Build strong relationships with customers and internal teams, including engineering, compliance, finance, and operations and support to ensure successful product delivery.
- Business & Product Documentation: Write clear and detailed business and product requirements documents, with the Business Analysts, ensuring alignment across business, design, and development teams.
- Optimization: Measure and analyze existing products to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement, delivering additional value to customers and platforms.
- Technical Implementation Oversight: Partner with engineering teams to oversee the development, testing, and deployment of new products, features and enhancements, ensuring technical feasibility and alignment with business goals.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, or related roles within fintech, payments, or financial services.
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of financial systems, payments processing, blockchain technology, and compliance frameworks.
- Analytical & Data Skills: Proficient in data analysis, and business intelligence tools to support decision-making.
- Communication & Documentation: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to produce detailed technical documentation and collaborate across teams.
