Network CCTV Engineer - WA7 1NX (£35K - £40K)

Our client Topological Limited is looking for an enthusiastic individual with network and/or cctv installation experience to join their team, based in Runcorn. The position will include installing and maintaining Aruba switch/wireless networks, Hikvision CCTV and Paxton doors for local schools.

* Roles/activities are varied, with flexibility for some out of hours work.

* You will have client contact, so people skills and the ability to obtain an enhanced DBS are essential.

* Driving is a necessity with a clean driving licence (van to be provided after initial probation period)

* Holidays = 23 days per calendar year + Bank Holidays.

* Sick pay = 3 days paid in any 12 month period + SSP

Duties and responsibilities will include

* CCTV Installation and maintenance

* Technical Support (remote and onsite) and update support logs

* Installation of network switches and wireless technologies

* Create and update documentation

You will need

* Experience of working on multiple sites

* Networking fundamentals - VLANs/wireless

* The ability to work with minimal supervision

* Time management, written and verbal communication skills

* Problem solving abilities

* Health & Safety experience

Basic Knowledge/ Understanding

* IT experience (Microsoft Office)

* Capable with hand and power tools e.g. ladders, drills, etc

* Cabling (CAT5e, CAT6 and fibre optic)

* Computers/technology
