Our client, a prominent player in the water sector, is searching for a Regional Pump Engineer to join their team based in Bury St Edmunds. This permanent role involves servicing and maintaining pumps, hoses, and generators to a high standard within a designated region.

Key Responsibilities:

Reducing backlogs of non-RFH equipment at depots, either on-site or at the "home depot"
Undertaking major repairs and refurbishments
Ensuring all servicing is up to date on-site and at depot
Diagnosing faults and repairing/maintaining various pumps, hoses, and generators in the fleet
Checking, tagging, and updating service records for all equipment
Maintaining a current knowledge of products and accessories
Adhering to best safe working practices at all times
Reporting all incidents/accidents and abiding by site Health & Safety rules

Job Requirements:

Experience in pumps, hoses, and generators is essential
Relevant pump qualification or time-served pump engineer
Preferable CITB/NVQ qualification
Valid driving licence
Strong mechanical and electrical skills
Excellent problem-solving abilities
Flexible attitude to adapt to the region's changing needs
Effective communication and record-keeping skills
