Starting Basic Annual Salary £30,000 (more for experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers).

About The Role:

We require a trained, experienced, and qualified Class 2 HGV Driver who is looking to work for a global freight forwarding and storage logistics company.

Working shift patterns will vary, as will routes, and drop numbers due to client / customer requirements.

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while delivering goods to various locations. This role requires a reliable individual who can operate Class 2 vehicles and manage the logistics of transporting products effectively.

Duties

* Operate a Class 2 vehicle for the safe and timely delivery of goods.

* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.

* Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing of items for transport.

* Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required.

* Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.

* Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.

* Assist in the planning of routes to optimise delivery efficiency.

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Class 2 delivery driver.

* Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving.

* Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.

* Good physical fitness, as the role involves lifting heavy items and being on the move throughout the day.

* Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team and clients.

* Full UK driving licence (we will need to complete a DVLA check).

* Digital tacho and Driver CPC Card (copies will need to be produced).

* Eligible to work full-time permanent in the UK .
