Job title: Embedded DeveloperLocation: Derby (Derbyshire)Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 per annumGood Benefits Package - See BelowVisa sponsorship is not availableCompany overview & Job Title:Due to ongoing successful development and exciting projects, an established and successful engineering company based in Derby (Derbyshire) who’re leaders in the industry of Advanced Security Technologies are now hiring for a brand new Embedded Developer to join the expert team and to be developing and designing world class products with the use of the new and latest cutting edge technologies.Salaries on offer & work from home policy:The salary on offer for the successful Embedded Developer is £40,000 - £55,000 per annum. 5 days working onsite is preferred but 1 day WFH is available.About the role:The successful Embedded Developer will take responsibility for Embedded C, C++ programming that will include designing, developing, coding, testing and debugging from concept through to manufacturing for products and technology. In addition to this the Embedded Developer work will have a variation of Hardware Development for PCB & FPGA Design.Embedded Software Engineer Key Skills:

• 1-3 years minimum industry experience
• Understanding of developing for embedded platforms and environments
• Embedded Software Programming in C, C++
• Experience of microcontrollers & microprocessors
• Network interface protocols – SPI, I2C, USB, UART, RS232/485, Ethernet, TCP/IP
• Hardware & PCB Design - Would be an advantage
• Experience with Altium would be an advantage
• Experience of FPGA Design – Would be an advantage
• Good & strong diagnostic skills
• Interest in learning & applying new technologies and technique
