Description

• Working closely with accounts team on project costing and supporting head of finance
• Monitoring, analysis and review of project revenue and cost
• Assist in the development and implementation of improved project cost management and reporting.
• Ensuring data is correct and accurately input into the existing project management tool and related systems.
• Monitoring of KPIs and identification of variances
• Profitability forecasting
• Procurement lead
• ISO Support - Supporting our commitments to key quality standards such as ISO 27001 in terms of monthly reporting and annual audits
• Assist in preparation of month-end entries related to revenue and expense accruals
• Cover for Head of Finance role during absence/holidays
• Other accounting tasks as needed related to projects, month-end and year-end

Profile

• AAT Qualified, or finalist working towards qualification
• Have gained relevant experience in a similar assistant accountant, project accountant role
• Ambitious to progress
• Strong communication skills to operate well with other departments
• Open to a 4 day working week

Job Offer

• Generous Salary ranging £33,000 - £37,000 FTE
• Hybrid working (2 days in office, 2 days at home)
• Study Support in ACCA or CIMA
• 30-32 hour working week
• 30 days of annual leave + bank holidays
