We require a Relationship Manager to join our business, to assist the Head of Relationship Management to develop, alongside leading, managing and supporting the development of our Relationship Support Assistants. This is a rare opportunity to join our invaluable relationship management team, and you will advise on managing our relationships with external organisations, overseeing mutually beneficial working relationships which are built upon clearly communicated strategic priorities and policies.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Develop, manage and maintain valuable stakeholder relationships
Assist business units to effectively consult and engage stakeholders on relevant projects
Ensure access and equity principles are considered and included in relevant strategies and programs
Manage stakeholder forums, meetings and management information
Ensure relevant management information is compiled and analysed
To comply with all FCA policies and procedures and any legal and regulatory requirements that the company is obliged to adhere to
Contract management - oversee and advise on implementation of new/revised contracts, agreeing appropriate servicing agreements and management information
Advising senior management of issues and/or risks to stakeholder relationships as soon as they arise so risks can be managed effectively
Attend, minute, chair or manage governance for Clients
Track and report key functional metrics to ensure company service levels are achieved, flagging potential issues or breaches and ensuring remediation plans are put in force where appropriate
Coordinate and manage change in line with the company's change control procedures
Skills and experience we look for;
Ability to be proactive and resolve any issues quickly and effectively
Flexible, approachable and have a positive attitude
Previous experience working as a Relationship Manager, Procurement Manager or Contract Manager
Experience of working in a fast paced working environment where accuracy is essential.
Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build rapport with customers/clients.
Demonstrate a solid understanding of legal terminology
Analytically minded with the ability to collate, analyse and leverage information from reports and turn information into action
Desired Skills
Corporate experience in stakeholder engagement and management is desirable
CIPS qualifications desirable.
Previous experience of mortgage processing, financial services or similar environment would be beneficial
Good knowledge of the UK equity release industry and products is preferred
