Company & Project: An established regional contractor operating in the Mixed-Use, Leisure, Commercial and Education sectors, are seeking to recruit an experienced an effective Estimator to complement their business based in Norfolk.
Our client has secured a number of key projects in 2025. They are now looking to add a new Estimator to their team to focus on their busy tender pipeline.
The business has a long-standing pre-construction team with an experienced Director that would be an excellent mentor for the successful individual.
Duties & Responsibilities: The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing the cost plans and pricing of single and 2-stage tenders in the main under JCT D&B forms of contract and typically £5m - £15m in value. There are a large number of tenders from a pre-existing frameworks in addition to selective tender.
You will produce BOQ's, take offs, full cost plans and target cost reporting with occasional pre con surveying duties including deed of appointment and procurement.
Desirable Experience:
- Experience working as an Estimator with Main Contractors.
- 5 years+ experience with main contractors in pure Estimating roles.
- Good track record of winning work.
- Sector experience must include New Build and/or Refurbishment projects.
- Previous Roles: Estimator OR Assistant Estimator OR Pre-Construction Surveyor OR Intermediate Estimator.
Qualifications & Skills: Degree or HND/HNC in a Construction related subject. Conquest software experience preferable.
