Join Our Award-Winning Town Planning Team at NHS Property Services

Are you a highly motivated built environment professional ready to make an impact within the NHS? NHS Property Services is proud to offer a dedicated professional town planning team. As part of our award-winning team, you'll join planning & development surveyors and town planners working across one of the largest property portfolios in the UK. With over 3,000 properties valued at more than £4bn, you'll have the opportunity to work on Grade I listed buildings, state-of-the-art health campuses, and major strategic sites.

As part of our Advisory Service directorate, you will help manage both healthcare and non-healthcare development and disposal projects as part of a strategic estate rationalisation programme. We are seeking a chartered built environment professional (or someone with equivalent experience), with at least 2 years of post-accreditation experience in planning & development or development viability roles. Your ability to adapt, innovate, and collaborate will be key to your success.

What you will do
- Drive forward the developer contributions workstream, focusing on Section 106, Community Infrastructure Levy, and Financial Viability Assessments.
- Lead engagement with NHS England, NHS Trusts, Integrated Care Systems, and the Department of Health and Social Care on critical projects.
- Provide strategic advice on site disposal and development opportunities within our estate and for client organisations.
- Influence local, regional, and national planning policy through active monitoring and lobbying efforts.
- Secure infrastructure funding for healthcare and support the delivery of planning and development projects.
