Management Accountant | £37,000 - £40,000 | 6-month FTC | Manchester | Hybrid:

Castlefield Recruitment are working with a public-sector organisation in Manchester who are looking to recruit a Management Accountant to their team for a 6 month FTC. The role offers hybrid working/flexi-time, generous annual leave and other great benefits.

Duties:

• Responsible for monitoring revenue and capital budgets
• Provide support and advice for the wider business, including colleagues with a non-financial background
• Understand guidelines and regulations for financial reporting
• Managing numerous cost centres within the organisation
• Managing and allocating government grants

Experience:

• Previous experience working in the wider public sector as a Management Accountant or a similar position
• Strong experience managing government grants and liaising with project managers
• Experience managing multiple cost centres and has the ability to work self sufficiently
• Advanced excel skills and strong financial system knowledge
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
