Production Operative - Permanent Start date: ASAP Working hours: Monday - Friday: 8:30am - 16:30pm, 16:00pm finish on Fridays

Pay: £22,920.00 per year

Job descriptionYou will be required to work in a safe manner and in accordance with company health and safety policy at all times.
· Carrying out production activities in accordance with instructions from the Production Supervisor, this role involves mechanical and soldering.
· Producing goods in accordance with company procedures
· Building sub-assemblies in accordance with company procedures Requirements
· Technical Ability: Soldering, Good use of hand tools and good dexterity.
· Health & Safety: Understand Health & Safety requirements and conforms
· Quality & Effectiveness of work: To produce a range of parts to customer requirements and established processes. To ensure jobs are completed in a timely manner in accordance with company targets and objectives.
· Flexibility: To have a flexible approach with the tasks and a can do attitude.
· Documentation Control: To be able to update documentation as necessary.
· Team: To be able to work as part of a team or on their own initiative. Please note: this job role will require standing most of the day and continually move and lifting small, medium and heavy items. The successful candidate will start in the Calibration dept, learning the business, then will move on to the Production area, building and assembly.

Salary will increase as experience is gained.

After probation you will be able to join the company ownership scheme, given free company shares. 33 days holiday, includes bank holidays, 3 days will be needed to cover between Chrismas and the new year. 37.5 hr week, 30 minutes lunch break. Role based in Waterlooville.
