HR Advisor opportunity available working for a leading provider of outsourced services based in central Manchester. This role is offers plenty of work life balance working one day from their central Manchester office and 4 days from home.

This opportunity is looking for someone who ideally has experience in a broad HR generalist role and is CIPD qualified or working towards their CIPD Level 5. Study support will be offered also in this role. 

You will provide operational HR support, advice and guidance to managers across the business on a range of employee relations and change management issues.   

The Role:

  • Providing advice to managers on employment law, company policies and procedures, and HR ‘best practice’ to enable managers to effectively deal with people management/employee relations issues such as; performance management, absence management, disciplinary, grievance and consultation.
  • Providing support to the HR Business Partners and managers where appropriate in relation to business change (restructuring, redeployment, redundancy, and TUPE matters).
  • Advising managers of the various options to take, and any associated potential risks to enable them to take appropriate decisions in relation to people management issues which arise. Challenging managers where appropriate and highlighting any concerns to the HR Business Partner. 
  • Building effective working relationships with managers at all levels across the organisation by providing professional, timely and effective HR solutions in line with the needs of the business.
  • Providing ongoing coaching and development for line managers (either on a 1:1 basis or through delivering group training sessions) on key management practices including performance and capability issues, conflict and dispute situations, and absence management.
  • Ensuring appropriate HR records are kept and producing reports as required.
  • Working as an active member of the HR team ensuring that regular contributions are made to the team to facilitate the development and knowledge base of the HR Service. 
  • Carrying out additional or alternative duties which are appropriate to the role, as reasonably required by the Company.

This opportunity offers a salary of £30,000-£31,400 plus excellent Benefits including:
