Salary: £50000 - £56000/annum extensive benefits package

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Structural Engineer to join our team in Edinburgh. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the structural engineering design and analysis of building projects, ensuring the highest standards of safety, sustainability, and efficiency are met.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage structural engineering projects from concept to completion.
Provide technical expertise and guidance on the structural design of buildings.
Conduct structural analysis and calculations to ensure the safety and stability of structures.
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to develop integrated building solutions.
Oversee and mentor junior engineers and technical staff. Ensure compliance with local and national building codes and regulations.
Prepare and review detailed engineering drawings, reports, and specifications.
Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure construction aligns with design specifications.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering Chartered Engineer status (CEng) with a recognized institution (e.g., ICE, IStructE).
Minimum of 8 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on building projects.  Proficiency in structural analysis software
Strong knowledge of building materials, construction methods, and industry standards.
Excellent project management and leadership skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
