Are you an experienced Contractor Quantity Surveyor seeking an exciting opportunity in Shropshire? We are currently looking for a skilled and knowledgeable professional to join our team, someone who is self-disciplined, initiative-taking and has, ideally, 5 years of experience in the industry, possesses a degree, and is keen to work in a non-sector specific business.

We are in process of growing this division within our practice and the successful candidate will be integral to the growth and direction that this takes. If this challenge is something that excites you, we want to hear from you! This role is office based, all candidates applying for this role must be happy with friendly dogs in the office daily.

Responsibilities:

* Precontract

*

* Estimation and cost planning.

* Tender work packages.

* Tender appraisal and recommendation.

* Sub-contract award.

* Main contract award.

* Post contract

*

* Monthly valuations and cashflow forecast.

* Monthly CVR's.

* Cost and valuation management.

* Sub-contract valuation and final account agreements.

* Overall final account agreement.

Requirements:

* Ideally 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor.

* A relevant degree in Quantity Surveying.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Experience essential in NEC and JCT forms of contract.

* Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.

* Full driving licence
