Driver Hire (Torbay) is on the lookout for reliable Class 2 HGV drivers to support our clients across the TQ postcode area on an ad-hoc basis. This role involves delivering palletised or caged goods, requiring physical fitness as some handballing will be part of the job.
Key Role Details:- Pay Rate: £15.68-£21.13 per hour (PAYE ADV); other PAYE options available.
- Shifts Start From: 05:00, Monday to Saturday.
- Minimum Pay: Guaranteed 8 hours per day.
- Payment Frequency: Weekly - keeping your cash flow steady.
Your Responsibilities:- Safely transporting goods to various locations.
- Delivering exceptional customer service at each drop-off point.
- Adhering to company policies and maintaining high standards of operation.
What We Need From You:- A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
- Digital Tachograph Card and Driver Qualification Card (CPC).
- Safety footwear is a must.
- Physically fit and comfortable with handballing and lifting as required.
