Planned Maintenance & Retrofit | Tier 1 Contractor

Are you a hands-on Site Manager with a passion for sustainability and improving social housing?
Join a leading Tier 1 contractor delivering high-impact retrofit and refurbishment projects backed by the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF)

As Site Manager, you will take ownership of live sites across a varied portfolio of occupied social housing. You will lead the safe and efficient delivery of planned works and energy efficiency upgrades in line with SHDF objectives.

Key duties include:

• Managing day-to-day site operations and coordinating subcontractors and operatives

• Ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard

• Monitoring compliance with SHDF and PAS2035 retrofit requirements

• Liaising with residents, clients, and internal teams to maintain strong communication

• Driving quality control, health and safety, and environmental best practices

• Reporting progress, snagging, and managing handovers

• Proven experience managing planned maintenance and refurbishment works in social housing

• Practical knowledge of SHDF, retrofit coordination, and PAS2035 standards

• Experience with kitchen & bathroom replacements, window/door upgrades, roofing, and external wall insulation

• CSCS card, SMSTS certification, and a full UK driving licence

• NVQ Level 4+ or HNC in Construction (or equivalent)

• Strong communication and people management skills

• RICS or MCIOB membership (or working towards) is a bonus
