We are seeking a Weighbridge Operator on a temporary basis paying upto £16.00 p/h, working Monday to Friday days position, at a market-leading international manufacturing organisation, based in Doveholes Quarry Crica £35,000pa

Weighbridge Operator Position Overview:

Weighbridge Operator Main Duties/ Responsibilities:

Check delivery drivers have the necessary qualifications, have been inducted for site and have the necessary PPE
Confirm drivers know where and how to deliver their load
Record deliveries of Raw Materials and Fuels over the weighbridge
Despatching of some outbound materials over the weighbridge
Manage vehicles on-site through close communication with the control room and haulier planners
Be the single point of contact for delivery drivers if there are any issues on site
Occasional driver inductions to be carried out.
Weighbridge Operator Experience / Qualifications:

Previous experience of working in a weighbridge is desirable, but training will be given
Knowledge of Excel desirable
Total commitment to Health & Safety Standards
Good communication skills (Firm but fair)
Flexible, reliable, and enthusiastic
Ability to work well under pressure at times.
