This position requires a meticulous Finance Assistant to join our Accounting & Finance department in the Not For Profit industry based in Greater Manchester. This is an ongoing temporary opportunity working 21 hours per week ideally over 3 days.

Description

The duties include:

• Assist with accounts payable and receivable tasks
• Carry out bank reconciliations
• Help in the preparation of monthly financial reports
• Ensure financial records are maintained
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance team

Profile

A successful Finance Assistant should have:

• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Excellent numerical skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience using Quickbooks - not essential.

Job Offer

• An hourly rate of between £13.00 to £14.00 (£24,000 to £26,000 FTE).
