We have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Supply Chain & Operational Procurement Manager to join our Procurement team at The London Clinic, based at our main site in London (W1G 6BW). We are offering a competitive inclusive salary range of £52,488 - £62,978 per annum.

Job Profile:

The Deputy Supply Chain & Operational Procurement Manager will report directly to the Supply Chain & Operational Procurement Manager. They will maintain close working relationships with their leadership counterparts across the department, to provide a professional and pro-active supply chain & operational procurement service. The post holder will have overall accountability for the Buyers & Systems & Catalogue Administrators and will deputise for the Supply Chain & Operational Procurement Manager as required.

  • Job Type: Permanent, Full Time.
  • Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday.
  • Job Location: 20 Devonshire Place, London, W1G 6 BW.
  • Salary: £52,488 - £62,978 per annum.

Key Duties:

  • Provide a professional, customer focused Supply Chain & Operational Procurement service to all user departments.
  • Responsible for the management of the Buyers and Systems & Catalogue Administrators and required to deputise for the Supply Chain & Operational Procurement Manager as required.
  • Responsible for the development of supply chain solutions that best address the control and ordering of stock including inventory management.
  • Support the implementation of the Inventory Management system to all identified areas of the London Clinic, including devising and implementing plans for rolling our IMS to areas that do not currently use the system.
  • Working with the Supply Chain & Operational Procurement Manager to ensure an effective relationship between the Supply Chain team and the Operational Procurement Team so that the delivery of goods is carefully planned and received into the London Clinic.
  • Responsible for ensuring that ongoing benchmarking of alternative products and alternative routes of supply are carried out. Identifying products to be reviewed and evaluated by the relevant sourcing groups.

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in an inventory management of stock management systems role (or equivalent).
  • Management experience in a procurement or supply chain role.
  • Knowledge and experience of procurement procedures.
  • In depth understanding of the principles of stock management, including; knowledge of calculating optimum reorder levels, and understanding of the complexities of stock flow including lead times.
  • Has credibility with senior managers and clinicians, with the ability to communicate effectively
