Conveyancing Assistant

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join a well-known law firm in Eastbourne. This is a brilliant chance to become an integral part of a close-knit team, supporting a highly experienced Partner on a 1-to-1 basis.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and enjoys the variety that comes with working closely with a senior fee earner. You'll be joining a firm with a strong reputation and longstanding presence in the local area.

Key Responsibilities:
Supporting the Partner with all aspects of residential conveyancing transactions

Drafting and preparing legal documentation

Liaising with clients, agents, and other solicitors

Conducting searches and assisting with exchange and completion processes

Managing and updating case files

Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years' experience in a conveyancing support role

Confidence in handling a busy and varied workload with minimal supervision

Excellent communication and organisational skills

A proactive and professional attitude

Must be local to Eastbourne or within a reasonable commute - this is an office-based role
