Nixon McQuade have partnered with a bespoke, fast-growing business that is seeking a dedicated and experienced Bookkeeper to join their finance team in Belfast.
This role is perfect for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for maintaining accurate financial records, especially with hands-on experience using Xero accounting software.
The Role:
- Maintain accurate financial records, including managing accounts payable and receivable.
- Process invoices, payments, and expenses using Xero accounting software.
- Reconcile bank statements and perform month-end financial tasks.
- Prepare VAT returns and assist with tax-related matters.
- Support the preparation of financial reports for management.
The Person:
- Proven experience in bookkeeping, with a strong working knowledge of Xero accounting software.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and processes.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
