We’re looking for a Finance Business Partner to join a respected charity organisation in Southampton, where you’ll play a pivotal role in driving financial insights and influencing key decisions. There are 2 vacancies available for this role.Reporting to the Senior Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for:
  • Monthly reporting and analysis – taking ownership of the monthly reporting process, analysing the numbers and identifying trends or discrepancies that need attention
  • Collaborating with stakeholders and budget holders across various departments to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making
  • Ad hoc project-based reporting, analysing monthly performance
  • Reporting on balance sheets and profit and loss and providing key analysis on risks, opportunities and successes
  • Overseeing the month-end reporting process, including revenue recognition, timesheet accruals, and extracting valuable insights for projects
  • Actively seeking out opportunities for process improvements, leveraging your analytical skills to enhance financial reporting and operational efficiency
What you will need:
  • Previous experience in a similar role, such as Finance Business Partner / Finance Analyst / FP&A Accountant / Financial Planning and Analysis / Management Accountant / Commercial Accountant
  • Qualified or part-qualified CIMA / ACCA / ACA
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • To be a confident communicator, able to translate complex financial data into actionable insights
