Role Overview:
Join our Team as a Maintenance Support Technician. In this role, you will support the Shift Maintenance Engineer with preventative maintenance and deep cleaning of production machinery. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of health, safety, and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:

* Adhere to the cleaning schedule to minimise production downtime.

* Perform preventive maintenance as directed by Shift Maintenance Engineers.

* Ensure compliance with Health and Safety, and Personal Hygiene standards.

* Use correct materials, equipment, and methods, and report any faulty machinery immediately.

* Develop and maintain effective working relationships with all departments and colleagues.

* Report all accidents, dangerous occurrences, and near misses, and complete necessary documentation.

* Complete all requisite documentation to the required standard.

* Contribute to the daily Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of the department.

* Maintain high levels of health, safety, hygiene, and housekeeping.

* Communicate clearly with team members and Team Leader.

* Use equipment correctly and safely.

Qualifications and Skills:

* Good written and spoken English.

* Good dexterity and ability to use basic hand tools.

* Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised.

* Genuine desire to maintain and clean machinery.

* COSHH Awareness.

* Excellent attention to detail
