The successful candidate will play an integral role in providing exceptional care to patients undergoing a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac procedures. If you have a passion for cardiology, excellent technical skills, and a commitment to patient care, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct a variety of non-invasive and invasive cardiology tests, including but not limited to:
Left and right heart catheterisation
Brady-pacemaker implants and follow-ups
Complex Devices (CRT/ICD) implant/optimisation/follow-up
Reveal implant and follow-up
12-Lead ECG (Carelink)
Ambulatory ECG and blood pressure monitoring
Technician-led exercise stress testing
MIBI procedures
Perform basic Electrophysiology (EP) studies and assist with stock take and ordering of necessary equipment.
Provide factual reports on diagnostic tests with minimal supervision.
Communicate effectively with patients, carers, and visitors, ensuring they understand procedures and feel supported.
Train junior staff and assist in their professional development.
Support line-management and leadership duties as required.Qualifications:

BSc in Cardiac Science (or equivalent).
BHRS/IBHRE accreditation (working towards, in part or completed).
BSE Accreditation (in part or completed).
SCST/RCCP/AHCS/HCPC registration.
Immediate Life Support certification.Experience:

Relevant intermediate experience in non-invasive and invasive cardiology tests.
Previous experience in a healthcare environment, collaborating with clinical and managerial staff.
Experience communicating directly with patients and carers.
Ability to perform and report on a variety of diagnostic tests with minimal supervision.
Basic EP experience and ability to manage inventory.
Previous NHS experience and experience in training and line-management is desirable.Knowledge:

Strong understanding of cardiology procedures including:
Left and right heart catheterisation
Pacemaker implants and follow-up
Complex device management (CRT/ICD)
12-Lead ECG, ambulatory ECG, and exercise stress testing.
Basic EP studies knowledge.
