Salary: £40000 - £50000/annum negotiable based on experience

A leading lift installation company is seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our expanding team. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer with a solid background in lift servicing and maintenance, combined with project management capabilities for pre- and post-lift installations.

The successful candidate will represent them on site for clients, builders, and other engineers while maintaining close coordination with the office. As a Project Engineer, you will manage technical and engineering projects, ensuring accuracy and quality. You will convert requirements into actionable tasks with realistic timelines and work with clients to address and resolve project issues.

Though primarily office-based, the role requires regular on-site presence to oversee engineering projects and communicate client needs to the assigned teams, ensuring client satisfaction.

* Servicing and Maintenance: Support as a senior figure on site with servicing and maintenance of various lift products, including home lifts, platform lifts, passenger lifts, and goods & service lifts.

* Technical Support: Provide operational and technical support on-site and over the phone.

* Client and Supplier Interaction: Deal with clients, suppliers, and office staff daily, providing technical support to other staff members, especially within the project management team.

* Breakdown Response: Respond quickly to any breakdowns or service/repair work as part of daily duties.

* Knowledge Development: Develop a good working knowledge of current key issues and sources of information related to the work of the Executive Directors.

* Representation: Act as the 'front-of-house” maintaining a professional image and providing effective service to all contacts.

* Communication: Efficiently and professionally handle all callers, whether in person, by telephone, or email, acting as an ambassador for the Executive Directors.

* Information Management: Take personal responsibility for ensuring up-to-date knowledge about key issues affecting the business. to deal with inquiries effectively.

* Project Work: Undertake specific pieces of work, projects, or any other reasonable duties.

* Teamwork: Work effectively as a team member to ensure workload, priorities, and deadlines are met, taking initiative where necessary.

* Flexible Support: Provide appropriate support to the Executive Directors while maintaining a customer focus.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

* Experience: 3-5 years as a lift engineer or similar role.

* Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 (desirable).

* License: Valid driving license and access to a vehicle.

OTHER DUTIES
