Our well established chemical manufacturing client based near Halifax are looking to recruit a Production Operative/Chemical Processor to join their small team on a temporary to permanent basis, the role will be to mix chemicals to form their product to specification.

THE ROLE:

* Mixing chemicals, following batch sheets

* Assisting with machine clean downs

* Weighing chemicals, working with numbers

* Working in a team environment, reporting to the supervisor

THE CANDIDATE:

* Must have experience in production/machine operating

* Mixing experience in chemical or food manufacturing industries is preferred

* Experience of working with chemicals is highly advantageous

* Must be physically fit due to the nature of the role

* Must be confident with numbers and working to specifications

THE SALARY & BENEFITS

* £11.44 per hour initially (rises once trained)

* Overtime is paid at overtime rates

* 7:00 - 4:30/8:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday

* Temporary to permanent
