About the Role:

This position is designed for a dedicated and meticulous HGV Class 1 Driver who thrives in night-time operations. Our client, a leader in the logistics industry, values reliability and professionalism. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safe and timely transport of goods, enhancing the client's reputation for efficient service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

* Master the Roads with Safety: Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles during night shifts, strictly adhering to all traffic regulations and safety protocols. Your expertise ensures a seamless and efficient night-time delivery service.

* Precision in Deliveries: Manage deliveries to various retail and warehouse locations with precision. Utilize Powered Pallet Trucks (PPT) effectively to handle goods carefully, ensuring all store entry protocols are followed meticulously.

* Warehouse Operations: Participate actively in transporting items between warehouse facilities. Engage in loading and unloading procedures, guaranteeing the security and integrity of goods during transit.

* Detail-Oriented Documentation: Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all deliveries. Complete all necessary paperwork, including timesheets, delivery notes, and incident reports, ensuring clarity and precision to support seamless operations.

* Routine Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct regular checks on vehicles to ensure they are in optimal working condition. Report any discrepancies or mechanical issues promptly to the maintenance team, ensuring the fleet remains in top condition.

* Adaptability in Duties: Be prepared to take on ad hoc duties as required, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to support team objectives and address the dynamic demands of the logistics environment.

About You:

* You possess a valid Class 1 driving licence (C+E) and a full UK driving licence.
