Job Description: We are looking for a skilled Shuttering Carpenter for a number of projects in Berkshire and Oxfordshire
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a carpenter with a portfolio of completed projects.
* In-depth knowledge of carpentry techniques and an understanding of carpentry tools and equipment.
* Strong attention to detail with excellent hand-eye coordination.
* Relevant vocational training or completed apprenticeship as a carpenter.
* Valid CSCS card.
Duties include
* Setting out the work area, following engineering plans.
* Using hand and power tools to cut plywood, wood and assemble shutters/boxes and panels using screws.
* Reading of drawings/projects/plans in English and independent work are mandatory.
* Constructing formwork based on project specifications and blueprints.
* Assisting in the pouring and placement of concrete into the formwork.
* Dismantling the formwork carefully to avoid damaging the concrete structure.
Must hold a valid Blue CSCS card, NVQ Level 3 and have own tools
