We are seeking a dedicated Lecturer in Health and Social Care to join our clients team and contribute to the delivery of exceptional learning experiences for our students. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in Health and Social Care and Nursing, who are passionate about teaching and developing the curriculum to meet the needs of our students and the local community.

Day to day of the role:
  • Teach and assess students across a range of Health and Social Care courses, from entry to level 3, including 14-19 learners.
  • Develop the curriculum in line with national requirements, local community needs, and employment demands.
  • Work collaboratively as a member of the teaching team, reporting to the Senior Head of School and liaising with colleagues.
  • Take an active role in your own professional development, staying current with educational trends and best practices in Health and Social Care.
  • Deliver a full range of Health and Social Care qualifications, including T levels in Health (Adult Nursing Pathway).
  • Teach specialised subjects such as anatomy and physiology, clinical skills for Nursing, or Healthcare Science.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Demonstrable understanding of Health and Social Care, underpinned by experience in both teaching and practical clinical work.
  • Experience in teaching specialised Health and Social Care subjects.
  • PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
