Hourly Rate: £19-£21

Night Shifts

36 hours per week

Our client is on a lookout for an experienced Registered General Nurse (RGN), who has a deep commitment to providing high-quality care to older adults and those with dementia. They are currently looking for an individual to join their team for night shifts, where they will play a crucial role in delivering empathetic nursing care to their residents.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
  • Registered General Nurse (RGN) qualification with valid UK NMC registration, demonstrating a strong commitment to maintaining professional excellence.
  • Prior experience in older adult care, particularly with individuals with dementia, demonstrating expertise in handling complex care needs.
  • Strong clinical skills and comprehensive knowledge of relevant nursing procedures and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster a supportive and respectful care environment.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing positively to collaborative care efforts.


As a Registered General Nurse during night shifts, your responsibilities will include:
  • Providing empathetic and high-quality nursing care to older adults, with a particular focus on those with dementia.
  • Administering medications and treatments precisely and with care in accordance with healthcare professionals' prescriptions.
  • Monitoring and recording vital signs and symptoms, and intervening as necessary to ensure the well-being of the residents.
  • Effectively communicating with patients, their families, and colleagues to ensure holistic care and providing necessary support.
  • Adhering meticulously to all clinical and safeguarding procedures and policies, prioritising patient safety and well-being above all else.
