An organically growing niche Civil Contractor is looking to recruit a Site Engineer to initially support with a high-profile project in central London.  Working from river and shore, you'll gain unique technical experience including working with floating plant, barges and specialist diving activities.

As a niche and highly specialised Marine civil contractor, they offer a unique service to their client base which sits across both the Public and Private Sectors, including high net worth individuals. Typically operating as a Principal Contractor, they delivery design & build projects up to around £12M in value. They excel at winning work by offering alternate technical solutions and add further value through the ECI process. 

On completion of this project, the intention will be for you to support with ongoing works along the Thames or alternatively move to one of their other larger projects in Suffolk or Hampshire.

As a Site Engineer, you'll be responsible for:

Instrumentation and monitoring
Keeping up to date with construction drawings
Managing the quality and health & safety
Resolving technical problems
Assisting with RAMS and other site paperwork 
 
For you to be successful in this position, you will:

Hold demonstrable experience in delivering civil engineering projects, with values more than £3M
Be educated to HND or Degree (or equivalent) level in Civil Engineering
Ideally have experience of working on Marine or wet civils projects. Alternatively, be well versed in earthworks and piling.
Have a clean driving licence and a willingness to travel across London and the Southeast (within reason) 
 
On offer is a salary of between 35,000 - 40,000 per annum with a travel allowance OR company vehicle, contribution pension, profit share bonus and 25 days holiday
