The Creative Media department are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and skilled lecturer to cover maternity by supporting delivery and technical skills development of our learners on our Foundation Degree in Film & Television Production Technology.

Candidates need to support our high expectations in supporting our learners, developing their craft, requiring a high level of technical competence and up-to-date knowledge of practical filmmaking techniques across preproduction / production and postproduction skills in addition to supporting the use of Adobe Premier Pro and After Effects.

The successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, knowledge of working in production environments, and a proactive approach towards maintaining and developing new skills to support the rapidly evolving media industry needs.

This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to help play a vital role in building our provision, and in supporting the regions aspirations as digital and creative county.

The successful applicant will have a degree in creative media subject and a full teaching qualification (PGCE or DTTLS) together with the experience of teaching higher education, ideally with an awareness of university processes such as award boards etc.
