Position: Ocean Export Operations Coordinator

Salary £29,000pa

Working Hours - Mon - Fri 9am-17:00pm (Hybrid 3 days from home 2 office based)

Ocean Export Coordinator Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Ocean Export Operations Coordinator to join our global multi-award-winning freight forwarding business. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with 3 days from home and 2 in the office.

Key Role & Responsibilities:

Manage the export process from start to finish via sea freight
Liaise with customers, suppliers, and transport companies to ensure efficient operational service
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with key customers
Obtain and organize necessary information to meet customer needs
Liaise between suppliers, forwarders, and agents for shipment information
Ensure customers are fully informed of shipment progress
Provide transport companies with relevant information for customer delivery requirements
Complete export documentation and invoicing within required timeframes
Support continuous improvement of processes and business performanceExperience required

Proven experience in ocean export operations
Strong communication and relationship management skills
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid working environment
Knowledge of export documentation and regulations
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
