Operational Resilience Consultant Business Analyst - Global Financial Services Firm

Robert Half is supporting their client, a leading consultancy, in their search for an Operational Resilience Business Analyst with experience in operational resilience within financial services. The role involves working across various teams to support the implementation and enhancement of operational resilience frameworks, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, with DORA compliance considered an advantage.

Contract Assignment Details:

  • Location: London (Hybrid Working - 1 day per week)
  • Duration: Initial 6 months (with potential extension)
  • Day Rate: £#removed# p/day via PAYE (employer's NI & tax deducted at source - no umbrella company fees)
  • Start Date: Subject to onboarding and preliminary meetings, with an estimated turnaround of approximately two weeks, including time for technology setup and related processes.

Experience Needed:The ideal candidate will have the following experience and skills to ensure operational resilience frameworks are fit for purpose and compliant with regulatory standards:

  • Proven experience in conducting operational resilience assessments across various business functions, identifying potential risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements around operational resilience, with experience in DORA (Digital Operational Resilience Act) considered an advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform Business Impact Analysis (BIA), ensuring key business functions are resilient to disruptions.
  • Expertise in remediation planning with the ability to develop and maintain effective remediation plans to address gaps in operational resilience frameworks.
  • Experience in supporting the design and implementation of incident response and crisis management procedures, ensuring readiness for disruptive events.
  • Proficiency in testing and validation of resilience frameworks, including coordination and execution of scenario-based stress testing.
  • Strong documentation skills with the ability to provide comprehensive reporting on progress, risks, and operational resilience gaps.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with technical and business teams to ensure resilience goals are met and regulatory requirements are fulfilled.
